D&D Item Shop Manager

I've been DMing for years, and shop scenes always hit the same wall.

My players would ask "what does this item do?" or "how much gold do I have left?" — and I'd have to stop, open the Book, open Google, do mental math. Every time. The atmosphere I'd built would just evaporate.

So I built this.

**HOW TO USE**

1. Extract File
2. Click start.bat for running my web app.

Open the **DM Window** and stock your shop before the session — drag items in from the 1,200+ item database, or hit Roll to randomly fill it by category and rarity.
Then click Players button and add their name and money. 

When the shopping scene starts, you have the full item database in front of you. Players ask about an item — open the **Player Window**. you click it and read the stat block out loud, or share your screen so they can see it themselves. No more stopping to open the Book or Google.

Work through what they want to buy, track the gold total, then enter the purchases into DnD Beyond — or write them on paper if you're playing at the table. The item lookup part is already handled.

- **Online game (Discord):** Screen share your Player Window. Players see the shop and stat blocks as you browse.

- **Tabletop:** Open it on your laptop or a spare tablet. Same result.

Players can also open a dedicated **Player View** window — a separate shop display with a cart and gold calculation, so they can browse and pick items themselves while you manage the DM side.

- **Add new custom items** — create items from scratch and add them permanently to your database (free version can edit existing items, but cannot add new ones)

- Save and import shops as JSON
